Sony Says PS3 Move Set To “Explode” Over The Next Year

Sony Europe boss Andrew House has stated that sales of the PlayStation Move are going to “explode over the next 12 months.” He said that the 3D format, though, will track along a much longer lifecycle. Sony revealed the UK Move starter pack price today, which comes with the Move controller, the PlayStation Eye camera, a starter disk, and 9 playable demos, all for £49.99. He admitted that 3D is going to take much longer to evolve, which is what we think also. People will not even be buying 3D TV sets for years. Hopefully, by then, the home 3D technology will be closer to the big screen.
